Take guard against diabetes

Prevention is better than cure so create a diet chart today and above all start exercising regularly. Asanas like Dhanurasana, Ardhamatsyendrasana, Vajrasana, Yoga Mudra, Pavan Muktasana, Sarvangasana, Halasana, Matsyasana have been found to be useful for diabetic patients. These asanas have positive effects on the pancreas and regularise insulin production and absorption.

However, the best practice for managing diabetes is walking regularly either in the morning or in the evening. Walk for at least half an hour on an even path with brisk steps and choose an unpolluted area.

  • Walk Briskly for atleast 30 mins everyday.
  • Walk on a level surface, increase the pace a little daily.
  • Wear white clothes if you are walking after dark to avoid collision.
  • Wear proper walking shoes which help the arch of the feet to keep you balanced.
  • Best time to walk is in the early hours of the morning or after dinner.

One of the major reasons of diabetes in Children is the lack of playgrounds and parks where they can expend their excess energy and burn unnecessary calories. Children are glued to their computers and television sets and have become armchair sportspersons. Their sedentary lifestyle has been one of the major causes for obesity and diabetes. Encourage your Children to walk and cycle even if they can't play as such as they should. Swimming is an excellent exercise to prevent diabetes in Children. Spend a little money and make them members of local Swimming Club.

Make them walk to schools and back if it is possible otherwise assign chores that demand walking even if it is to the Kirana shop. To give them the requisite hour of walking and exercise that is necessary for growing Children you can also look for a substitute to actual working, which can be called "Virtual Walking". Give them a Morning Walker so that they get the advantages of walking without having to go out of their way. Walking is now easier than ever before without even stepping out of the house. What sweeter way to walk out of diabetes?

Is there a  simple substitute for walking  to suit the entire family?
Believe it or not there is. It is a wonder machine that makes you walk 10,000 steps in 15 minutes by simply lying on your back. A scientific innovation approved by the Indian Medical Association its so aptly called Morning Walker because it not just substitutes walking but allows you and your spouse, your children and your elderly parents and the rest of the family to choose the most convenient time. Just make sure its not used by pregnant women and those with implants like a pacemaker in their bodies.

Morning Walker

How does it work?
Lie down and place your ankles on the cushioned footrest and give yourself up to the swinging movement akin to that of a goldfish that relaxes the nerves, eases tension while it alleviates diabetes. Listen to your favourite music or  make mental plans for the day ahead while Morning Walker burns the same number of calories as a 2.5 km brisk walk. If you are already suffering from diabetes you will feel the difference in a short time. Morning Walker will activate nerve impulse stimulation, improve blood circulation and insulin sensitivity lower blood sugar and reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. 4000 patients in AIMS Delhi have tested for Morning Walker with positive results.

Its time you tried it too. The result will be sweeter than you can imagine.
