How to survive a heart attack when alone
  • Do you have chest pain?
  • Do you have pain in left arm and upper jaw?
  • Do you have breathing difficulty?'
  • Do you fee like vomiting?
  • Do you have the urge to go to the toilet?
  • If you are a woman do you feel a burning sensation in your upper stomach or lightheadedness?
  • Are you perspiring more than usual?
  • Stop the car.
  • Take help from driver or call passersby.
  • Take help from co-passenger if you are in a public transport.
  • Ask them to call or your spouse or your colleague or boss.
  • Ask to be taken to the nearest clinic. Don’t Panic. You have a few seconds take emergency measures.

How to deal with Heart On Your Own

  • Take a very deep breath and fill your lungs with oxygen.
  • Cough hard as when bringing out sputum from deep inside.
  • Breathe in deeper again. Cough out harder.
  • Repeat every two seconds till medical help is at hand.
